Most seed lines are bred for the bag — yield, bag appeal, a number on a certificate. WASHHOUSE is bred for what happens after harvest: the wash, the sift, the press. Seed to dab.
That changes what we select for. We're not chasing the biggest cola — we're chasing trichome heads that detach clean at 73 micron, stalks that snap under agitation, and terpenes that survive heat and pressure. The plant that looks best in a grow journal isn't always the one that returns full-melt.
So every cut we sell carries the numbers we measured: wash yield, micron range, melt rating, rosin return, and a method-affinity score across the four ways people actually extract. Those are breeder observations, not promises — your results move with your technique. But they're honest, and they're on the pack.
How a line earns a slot
Hunt the pheno
Hundreds to thousands of plants per line, screened under a loupe for trichome architecture — big heads, fragile stalks, clean detachment. Looks don't make the cut; the wash does.
Wash it down
Every keeper gets run: ice water through a full micron stack, dry sift across screens, the press at low temp. We log yield by micron band, melt, and rosin return.
Score the methods
Each cut is rated for affinity across dry sift, ice water, rosin, and hydrocarbon. The primary method is whatever the resin actually rewards — not what reads best on a label.
Stabilize, then drop
We confirm a line holds across multiple runs with no pheno drift before it ships. Finite runs, documented numbers, no restock once a cut is gone.
